Term 3 

Year 1/2 will be looking at the basic Indonesian language surrounding greetings, colours and family members. They will be doing lots of hands on activities such as games, drama and art to reinforce language learning.

Year 3/4 will be looking at 'Sekolah Saya'  (my school) they will be learning language that has to do with all the areas of the school and how schools in Indonesia differ to those in Australia.

Year 5/6 will be looking at 'Binatang Liar' (Wild Animals) they will be embarking on an individual or paired project whereby they will be learning all about their chosen Indonesian animal. Students will be able to choose between activities aimed at all kinds of different learning.

Overall in Indonesian we look at the differences and similarities between our two cultures and we foster an appreciation for different ways of doing things. We celebrate the Indonesian culture and strive to learn all we can about this beautiful and vibrant country.
