Kindergarten will be visiting the Canberra Metro Operations depot to undertake a guided tour.

During the tour, students will learn about the importance of rail safety and onboard etiquette whilst demonstrating the more fun aspects such as going through the tram wash and sitting in the driver’s cab. This is an opportunity for students to become familiar with trams and how they work in the controlled environment of the depot.  

Details of the excursion are as follows:

Venue: Canberra Metro Operations - Mitchell       

Date: Tuesday 28th June 2022         

Transport: Bus

Departure: Group 1: 10:30 (tour at 11-12)

                    Group 2: 12:45 (tour at 1-2)

Return: Group 1: 12:30

               Group 2: 2:15
