The ACT Education Directorate are supporting all ACT schools to provide teachers and school staff with two planning days this term. This will provide our staff with the time to further develop rigorous learning programs and fulfil term two assessment and planning requirements.
We ask students not to attend school on these days. However, should your child be unable to stay home there will be minimal supervision at school, and alternate programs provided. Please contact the school via email ( info_palmdps@ed.act.edu.au ) should your child need to be onsite.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the office. We thank you for your support.

Kindergarten will be visiting the Canberra Metro Operations depot to undertake a guided tour.
During the tour, students will learn about the importance of rail safety and onboard etiquette whilst demonstrating the more fun aspects such as going through the tram wash and sitting in the driver’s cab. This is an opportunity for students to become familiar with trams and how they work in the controlled environment of the depot.
