Camps provide a great opportunity for students to work in all teams, be involved in some new outdoor education programmes and gain a better understanding of themselves and their fellow students in an alternative educational environment. Activities may include, mud run obstacle course, archery, BMX bikes, pioneering and chain reaction.
Parents should be aware that there is an element of risk involved in some of these activities, but every effort will always be made to ensure your child’s safety. All activities are guided by qualified and experienced staff from NSW sports and recreation and will be supervised by Palmerston staff. Students are reminded that they are always to obey the instructions of staff and supervising camp leaders. If you have any concerns or queries, please contact Brittany Herrington - Year 6 Executive Teacher (brittany.herrington@ed.act.edu.au).
