Reconciliation Week begins on Tuesday the 27th of May and finishes on the 3rd of June. It is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements. We can also explore how all of us can work together towards reconciliation in Australia.
This year’s theme is ‘Bridging Now to Next’, reflecting on the ongoing connection between past, present and future.
Palmerston District Primary School will be participating in the upcoming Sullivan Shield Rugby League Gala Day, held at Southwell Park LYNEHAM. We’re hoping to send both a Years 3/4 (Mixed) and a Years 5/6 (Mixed) team, depending on numbers and enthusiasm.

Transport: Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from the event

Arrival time: 9am and sign in with Mr O’Brien
Pick-up time: 2:30pm (Sign out with the supervising teacher)

Items to bring: Full Palmerston sports uniform, football boots, mouth guard (Compulsory), water bottle, recess, lunch, Sunsafe hat, (headgear is optional) and sunscreen. Please ensure your child’s items are clearly labelled.
