On Tuesday 2 December 2025, students who have nominated to be in the Palmerston District Primary School League Stars team will be attending the Gala Day held by NRL Australia at Southwell Park, Northbourne Avenue, Lyneham.
Venue: Southwell Park, Northbourne Avenue, Lyneham.

Transport: Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from the event
Coach/teacher in Charge: Mrs. Edwards
Arrive: At the venue at 9:00am and meet with Mrs. Edwards at the Palmerston Gazebo
Pick up: From the venue 2:30pm and sign out with the teacher
Cost: Free
Bring:Full Palmerston school uniform, football boots (runners if you don’t already have football boots), mouth guard, water bottle, recess, lunch, hat (headgear is optional) and sunscreen.
Students selected to represent Palmerston District Primary School in a Cricket Gala Day, will compete against other ACT schools in several cricket games during the day, with 1-hour games and a 30-minute break between each game. The gala day is being hosted by our school and will be played out on the oval for the entirety of the day.

Arrival: Please arrive at 9:00am and sign in with the supervising teacher. Students will return to class at the conclusion of the day at 2:30pm.
Items to bring: Recess, lunch, water bottle, sun safe hat, sunscreen, appropriate shoes and cricket bat if desired (Please ensure students personal items are clearly labelled).
