This year, we were unfortunately unable to secure our usual venue, Dickson Swimming Pool, for the school swimming carnival. As a result, the event will instead be held at Gungahlin Leisure Centre.
Due to capacity limitations at this venue, we regret to inform you that this year’s swimming carnival will be limited to competitive swimmers 8 years and older only. Non-competitive events will not be able to run as part of the carnival. In lieu of this, the school will be offering students the opportunity to participate in a Water Fun Day at a later date. Further information regarding this event will be communicated shortly.

Transport: Parents are responsible for the transport of their child to the venue, bus provided for return to school

Arrive at the venue at: 9:00am
Leave from the venue: 12:30pm
Cost: $11 (pool) + $5 (bus)
Bring: Palmerston uniform, water bottle, recess, lunch, swimming costume, goggles, cap. Please ensure your child’s items are clearly labelled.
At the AGM, all P&C positions will be declared vacant and nominations will be sought for the following core roles: President, Vice President (up to two), Treasurer and Secretary, as well as other supporting roles. This is a great opportunity to get involved and help shape our school community. Online meeting option will be sent to families shuld they want to atend.
