To celebrate the end of term and as we have already held our competitive swimming carnival this term, students will be participating in a Water Play Afternoon on Thursday 2 April, during the last session of the school day. The afternoon will be a fun, inclusive event focused on participation, teamwork and enjoying the end of term.
Students will take part in a range of water-based activities organised in their house groups:
Cotter
Snowy
Murrumbidgee
Gudgenby
Students will rotate through four water play activities. The stations include a Sponge Relay, where students move water between buckets using sponges; a Cup & Pour Challenge, where water is carefully transferred using cups; a Water Target Toss, focusing on throwing wet sponges or balls into targets; and a Splash & Dash Obstacle Course, combining simple movement tasks with a small water finish. Each rotation provides a fun, active way for students to engage in water play while staying cool.
Students may get wet during the afternoon, so we encourage them to bring:
clothes, which they can change into at lunchtime - These clothes may be in their house colours if they wish
