| Description | In the Kids Lit Quiz, teams of four students compete against teams from other schools to answer reading related quiz questions. There are no set books to read in preparation for the quiz. Rather, participants are encouraged to read a variety of texts including literature, non-fiction and newspapers/ magazines to build general knowledge. Kids Lit Quiz competitions challenge students to read widely, work collaboratively in a team and continue developing a love of reading. Palmerston will be entering 1 team of Year 6 students. Details of the excursion are as follows: Venue: Merici College, Wise St, Braddon Date: Thursday, 4 April 2024. Time: 9:30am-12:30pm Transport: OWN TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE VENUE Cost: N/A |
