What Are Our PBL Expectations?
Our whole school PBL expectations are that we are all safe, respectful learners. We have a Behaviour Matrix that is central to the teaching of expected behaviours in all areas across our school. The signage you may see as you walk around our school grounds helps us to discuss behaviours with students and ensure consistent language is used.
Responding to Negative Incidents
At Palmerston District Primary School staff follow a Decision Making Flow Chart to ensure a consistent approach to negative incidents. If inappropriate behaviour does occur, all staff refer to the behaviour chart to determine a logical consequence that is fair and consistent across the school.
